How To Get Booked on Podcasts Without a PR Team
In this meeting we learned in depth the skills it takes to make it as a speaker on podcasts and all the hard work that goes into it. From our guest panelist I learned that the most important thing to keep in mind when speaking on a podcast is to put your ego aside. It is not about you but rather the overall product you are creating and how enjoyable it is to the listeners. Even when it is a story about you it is important to keep that fact in mind. I also gained a new found appreciation for how much work goes into podcasts. Between research and editing hours go into every 1 hour listeners like I hear.
