EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Here are some past activities I have participated in.
March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala – 2012 – Along with other members of Phi Beta Lambda and Temple School of Tourism and Hospitality Management students, we assisted the March of Dimes in their annual Chefs Gala with set up, registration and other tasks.
Neighbors In Action Clean Up – 2011, 2012 – With the International Business Association and Neighbors In Action we helped clean up a street in North Philadelphia.
Relay for Life – 2012 – Along with the International Business Association was one of hundreds of Temple organizations participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. raising funds and creating awareness to help fight cancer.
Ronald McDonald House – 2011 – With the International Business Association we cooked and prepared a full breakfast for the Ronald McDonald House located in Philadelphia. Afterwards we helped clean up.
Great American Clean Up – 2009 – Along with employees of McNeil Consumer Healthcare, I helped revitalize a local Philadelphia garden. We picked up trash, pulled out weeds, and planted flowers and trees.
Walk for the Wissahickon – 2007, 2008 – For two years I participated in the Walk for the Wissahickon which was a 5 mile hike to promote environmental awareness and support the Watershed Association.
Johnson & Johnson Stream Clean Up – 2007, 2008 – For two years I participated in Johnson & Johnson’s efforts to clean up streams in the local area around Philadelphia.
