Career Objectives
Mary Kate plans to graduate from Temple University in the Spring of 2016 with a B.B.A. (Bachelor in Business Administration) with a concentration in marketing.
After graduation there is no other option for her then to enter the sports industry. She has two major career goals in life and to accomplish even one of them would provide her with what she would classify as successful career.
Mary Kate’s first goal is to work for either a major football or basketball Division 1 college or university. Her top choices for football include working for a university similar to The University of South Carolina Gamecocks or Auburn University Tigers. She have a much wider variety of basketball schools that she would consider working for.
If she has the opportunity to be employed by a Division 1 school she would hope to not only promote the fully funded programs but the athletics program as a whole. Her dream is to develop a successful marketing plan that will build profits for the school by gaining sponsors and bringing in the maximum amount of possible fans to each sporting event.
Mary Kate’s second goal would be to work for either ESPN, where she could cover and promote all types of sporting events, or for the National Football League where she would focus only on football.
