Career Aspirations
As a professional, I would like to minimize the communication gap between accountants and the rest of the business world. The information that I have gathered at the FOX school is that accountants are generally concerned with minimizing costs at all costs to maximize profits. This conservative approach to costs constricts growth within a business. As an accounting student with a MIS background, I hope to persuade my future co-workers to spend when necessary in order to better the overall company. Everyone ultimate goal in business is to maximize profits; I aspire to take an enterprise approach to reaching that goal.
