Product Intern
ARC by ChargeItSpot is a Philadelphia-based technology company that builds enterprise device-management solutions integrated with smart lockers used by frontline workers across industries. Their product supports major retailers by securing, charging, and managing handheld devices used for scanning, inventory lookup, task management, and mobile point of sale. As a Product Intern on the Product and QA teams, my role focused on supporting software development, localization, and user-experience improvements across ARC’s kiosk interface and Client Portal. I contributed to multiple projects, including implementing Spanish-language support on the kiosk and client-facing portal, conducting UX/UI reviews to ensure translations were intuitive and matched design standards, and performing quality-assurance testing to verify usability, functionality, and accurate localization across devices and workflows. I also participated in agile ceremonies, helped refine user stories, and validated completed features with developers and QA. Through this internship, I learned how product teams manage backlogs, test features before deployment, and design UI for multilingual users, skills directly connected to my MIS coursework in systems analysis, UX, and software development processes.
