IT Intern
During my tenure at AmerisourceBergen (AB), I served as an IT Intern within the D&S Finance and Sourcing IT Team. My primary responsibility revolved around collaborating with the Order Management Solutions Team to assess and evaluate various ordering channels within AB. This task was facilitated through the utilization of SAP, an ERP software. I meticulously tracked my project advancements by leveraging the project management tool JIRA.
Throughout my time at AB, I engaged in a multitude of projects. These encompassed a range of activities, such as executing DSCA requirements that entailed employing Figma to scrutinize the UI of Command Center. Additionally, I harnessed the capabilities of the AB Mobile App to evaluate QR scanning and the backend SAP ordering function. A significant achievement was the development of automation from the ground up, streamlining work logging in JIRA for the OM Solutions Team.
My experience at AB provided invaluable insights and a distinct perspective within the realm of IT. Although I have yet to undertake MIS 3506 and 3535 courses, I drew substantial parallels between my internship and these classes. My involvement in Figma testing aligned with the concepts covered in MIS 3506, and I acquired foundational knowledge of project management methodologies akin to those explored in MIS 3535.
