Title: “Lessons Learned from Career-Defining Events & Incidents Working in IT Auditing and Cybersecurity”

Date and Time: Tuesday, February 2, 2026

  • 3:00pm – 4:00pm: Panel Discussion with ITACS Industry Advisory Council Members
  • 4:00pm – 5:00pm: Professional Networking and Social Mixer

Location: Room 520 in 1810 Liacouras Walk on Temple University’s Main Campus & Online via Zoom (Panel Discussion)

Description: This NCAE-CD/ITACS event featured a panel discussion with members of the ITACS Industry Advisory Council. Panelists shared lessons learned from career-defining events and incidents experienced while working in IT auditing and cybersecurity. The discussion was moderated by Jason Lindsley and included time for audience questions and interactive dialogue.

Following the panel discussion, attendees had the opportunity to network directly with industry leaders, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations about career pathways in IT auditing, cybersecurity governance, and executive security leadership. Refreshments were served during the networking session.

This event provided a unique opportunity for students and other attendees to gain real-world insights, build professional connections, and deepen their understanding of leadership and career progression within the field.
