Google Prompting Essentials
The certification was from Google and the course was in the winter near the beginning of the spring semester. This certification involved a multiweek course with periodic assignments and tests diving into AI and how to use it as a tool through prompting. It truly made me realize that prompting as a whole is a skill and use of effective prompting can completely change how we interact with AI. I learned the fundamentals of AI models, how they relate with user inputs and how to correctly craft prompts to achieve what I want from an AI model. As time goes on AI becomes more and more prevalent in my everyday life and learning how to use it correctly has changed how I view AI as a whole seeing it as a tool to help me accomplish my everyday tasks. I truly believe prompt engineering is such an overlooked aspect in this AI centric world and believe this course allowed me to get ahead by establishing prompting skills early on.
