Bloomberg Market Concepts
This certification perfectly aligns with the main Finance course I have taken this semester. It covers the fundamentals of how financial markets work around the world and an introduction to the Bloomberg Terminal. The certification course covers various topics within financial markets such as equities, currencies, fixed income, and economic indicators. Overall, I feel as though the certification helped tie together some of the real world applications for concepts learned in FIN 3101, it was interesting to see how topics such as bonds and equity ownership function outside of the scope of practice solving problems. Being an MIS major it also helped me understand business topics that I would not have had exposure to otherwise, which I feel helps exhibit a well rounded knowledge base as an incoming business professional.
