MIS 2502: Data Analytics

This semester, I have the privilege of working with Professor JaeHwuen Jung as the Information Technology Assistant (ITA) for Data Analytics.
My main responsibilities include assisting my professor with evaluating and assigning grades for 20 In-Class Activities and 8 Assignments throughout the semester. Alongside that, I also hold office hours for 60 students with any questions regarding course materials relating to designing database systems and analyzing business data using various concepts and tools such as ER Diagrams, Database Schema, MySQL, RStudio, and Tableau Prep.
This is my second semester being an ITA for Data Analytics and I’ve enjoyed every second. I highly enjoy the opportunity to work closely with such a highly merited professor and having the opportunity to help underclassmen increase their understanding of the material. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and helping others; I feel as if this role helps me accomplish exactly that. Since assuming the role, I’ve also deepened my own understanding and knowledge of the course material, as well.
