Miller Keystone Blood Drive Committee
All throughout my high school years, I was part of the Miller-Keystone Blood Drive Committee. Each year, Miller Keystone would hold blood drives in our school to collect blood for those in need. I would help organizing each blood drive and help do varies task during the blood drives help in our school. Each blood drive, I would also donate some of my own blood. Miller-Keystone Blood Center donates to 26 hospitals around the area. These include areas such as Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia and Schuylkill (PA), and Hunterdon and Warren (NJ) counties. Their mission is “Saving lives by partnering with our community to provide a continuous supply of blood products and services.” Being part of Miller-Keystone in high school was a great opportunity to meet some great people and also to help give back to my own community.
