Quality Manager / Food Safety Manager – Amcor Rigid Plastics, Inc. Allentown, PA. (February 2008 to Present)
Plan, coordinate and direct all quality programs to ensure that product and processes protocols are in compliance with Amcor, customer and regulatory specifications. Direct and develop Quality Engineers, Quality Auditors, Quality Supervisors and Quality Technicians for analysis and execute of all production and quality inspections in accordance with test protocols.
I work closely with all departments to ensure quality functions and all operational goals are met within the plant. I communicate daily with all levels of the organization. Manage all Quality functions in accordance with annual budgets and training requirements. Lead the resolution of root cause analysis and corrective action of quality related problems at the plant and assist our customer during new product development at their location.
Direct all quality projects showing continuous improvement in quality, cost savings and improved delivery. Monitor and maintain statistical data using, Real SPC, Minitab and STSS Software. I direct all department Operations Managers by analyzing and improving process critical attribute and dimensional sampling data to meet a minimum of 1.33 Cpk.
Lead Plant Auditor with responsibilities that include creating, implementation and direction of a Plant Quality System that meets the American Institute of Baking (AIB) cGMP, HACCP, Gold Standard Certification and Global Food Safety Initiative Certification, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Requirements and State Milk Regulatory Packaging Requirements.
Direct Internal GMP Audit Programs, Equipment Calibration and technical guidance of all new bottle protocols. Lead all Food Safety Programs and microbiological testing.
Provide leadership, technical and quality support, training, and gauge reliability and repeatability test standards with all other Amcor facilities. Conduct numerous packaging and material vendor audits for qualification into the Corporate Approved Vendor List.
Quality Manager – Graham Packaging, Inc. Belvidere, N.J. (Aug. 2006 to February 2008)
Direct all Quality Assurance responsibilities, including SPC automatic data collection, analysis, gage calibration program, and Quality Engineering Departments. Quality Representative and ISO Champion for Management Review Meetings. Oversee Quality Dept. budgets and directs department focus.

Certified full system Quality Assurance Representative, Plane Captain, Naval Aircrew and Safe for Flight Certified.
