Interests and Hobbies
Beyond my academic interests at Temple, I am involved in multiple clubs and organizations, such as the Association for Information Systems, the Fox Student Philanthropy Society and the Pakistani Student Association. I am also involved as an active volunteer and was a board member of MIST Philly 2017 and am now a volunteer for MIST Philly 2018 (Muslim Inter-Scholastic Tournament).
I love volunteering on my free time, especially when it comes to service and philanthropy. I believe that serving yourself is serving others. I occasionally have volunteered for Feed Philly, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing low income residents around the area with food by preparing packaging and sending them out to local community service sites. I have also volunteered at local elementary , schools such as Duckery Elementary and Norris homes to help staff and students with help on their work. On my free time, I also like to exercise, primarily by weight lifting at the gym. It’s been an obsession to me for over a year and half and I love the feeling after having a good workout. I like to read books and spend time with my cat and family for my leisure.
