Digital Assurance and Transparency Tech Associate
- I will be working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) beginning in the Spring/Summer of 2023. In total, PwC employs around 295,000 employees across the globe. I will be working out of the New York City office under the Digital Assurance and Transparency (DAT) practice, which is a branch of PwC Trust Solutions. Specifically, I will be working as a DAT Tech Associate.
- In this role, I will be working alongside the DAT team to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls our clients implement. Additionally, DAT Associates offer valuable insights into client’s business processes and technology. As a DAT Tech Associate, I am specifically tasked with designing and testing clients’ IT General Controls, as well as coding workflows to streamline testing processes. I will leverage data, analytical skills, and emerging technologies to transform business processes and develop new solutions.
- This job relates to my major as the coding languages I have learned will play an important role in the day-to-day tasks that I will be given while on the job. Specifically, the Data Analytics MIS course will be most useful, as it taught important languages such as SQL and R, as well as used important technologies such as Excel and Tableau.
