The parKing mobile application combines a google map style display with crowd sourced real time parking data that allows users to both access and update the information beginning with Philadelphia. This app looks to reduce parking time significantly as well as promote local business through its reward features.

The reward system feature looks to promote both the application’s use as well as local Philadelphia business.  By updating accurate parking information, users will earn points that can be redeemed in the form offers such as gift cards from local business’s. Additionally, business’s will be able to update parking information in their block in order to promote business.  The combination of the reward system and business input, local business’ will realize increased advertising and customer  traffic.

Features:

Stationary Mode – Provides all menus/information designed for users not operating a vehicle

Driving Mode – Stripped down version providing all GPS and basic parking information designed to keep drivers safe when operating a vehicle.

Reward System – Users are rewarded with points that can be exchanged for various offers from participating business’

Business Profile – Allow business’ a subscription based profile to advertise, offer specials and update information through the application
