A Chat with Black Professionals in Tech & Cybersecurity
On February 6th, 2024, I co-hosted \\\”A Chat with Black Professionals in Tech & Cybersecurity,\\\” a virtual event celebrating Black History Month. In collaboration with the CARE Lab, Black Girls Hack, and the Women in Cybersecurity (Temple Chapter), our aim was to provide a platform for insightful discussions on the experiences of Black men in cybersecurity. Through engaging conversations, we explored their journeys, challenges, and achievements, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in the industry. This experience deepened my commitment to advocating for a more equitable environment within cybersecurity, amplifying diverse voices and driving positive change.
