Philadelphia Mini Maker Faire is a volunteer-organized, family-friendly celebration featuring local do-it-yourself science, art, robots, crafts, tech, music, hands-on-activities, and more. It’s an event where people show what they are making and share what they are learning.

Tyra Ford is the Director of the Temple Professional Network out of the Office of Alumni Relations. In this role, Tyra is charged with building a robust program aimed at providing high-quality career-related programming, resources and networking opportunities that support Temple alumni in all phases of their career development and across a variety of industries. Prior to this role, she worked at the Fox School of Business, holding the dual role of faculty and Director of Client Development for Fox Management Consulting. In these roles, Tyra taught undergraduate marketing courses and led business development efforts, securing consulting projects for Fox’s MBA students and serving a range of clients from Fortune 50 firms to startups. She has also designed content for and facilitated professional development workshops for a wide variety of audiences. Tyra has strong entrepreneurial roots, having founded and run her own business prior to joining Temple.
