Josh Barbieri, Director, Business Analytics, The Phillies

Josh Barbieri joined the Phillies organization in September of 2001. In his current role as Director, Business Analytics, he leads a team that works daily with all departments helping to improve and automate various business processes involving data.
The Business Analytics team assists in transforming both structured and unstructured data into meaningful information that can be easily accessed and analyzed. They are tasked with examining and developing strategies that promote data driven decision making with the overall vision of centralizing, organizing, and visualizing all business information while enabling real time access to analytics.
Josh has background in enterprise business intelligence software, in-memory data warehousing methodologies, and possesses knowledge in several programming languages. Born in Philadelphia, PA., Josh graduated from Father Judge High School in Northeast Philadelphia and earned a BS degree from Philadelphia University, with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
Blake Summerfield, Director, Business Analytics-Strategy, The Phillies

As Director Business Analytics – Strategy for the Phillies, Blake oversees the strategy arm of the department. He combines in-depth analysis with institutional business knowledge to present key insights and recommendations.
Blake and his team provide real-time reporting, effective data visualization, and actionable data analysis to business units spanning all levels of the organization. He focuses on a variety of data sources including ticket sales and pricing from both the primary and secondary markets, in-park attendance, concessions, merchandise, and television ratings. In addition to these descriptive analytics capabilities, he and his team have created multiple predictive models used by multiple departments.
Blake is the Phillies representative on several league committees including the Analytics & CRM planning committee and MLB’s data platform – Wheelhouse. He serves as a liaison for both the club and the department, continually engaging new users and educating them on how data driven decision-making can improve the business.
A 2006 graduate of the University of Delaware, Blake joined the Phillies in September of that year and spent ten years in the Sales Office before shifting roles and becoming one of the founding members of the Phillies Business Analytics department. He resides in South Jersey with his wife and three children.
Angela Ditri, Business Analyst, The Phillies
Angela Ditri joined the Business Analytics team as an intern in January 2020 before earning a full-time role in May 2021. In her current position of Business Analyst with a focus in Data Science, she spearheads the department’s predictive modeling and analysis. Other contributions include simple and complex data visualization and reporting, connecting to external data sources, and automating business processes. Her favorite projects include ticket sales forecasting models, Dollar Dog Night visualization, and secondary market analysis.
Angela graduated from University of Delaware with a master’s degree related to Physical Sciences which laid the foundation for her analytical and programming skills needed to succeed in her current role. In addition to being a Business Analyst, she is also a Teaching Assistant for an online Data Visualization and Programming Bootcamp hosted at Columbia University. Primarily programming in Python, she also has knowledge of R, Matlab, and JavaScript. She is currently residing in Northern Liberties with her dog Franklin.
Joe Dementri, Data Engineer, The Phillies
Joe Dementri graduated from Rowan University in 2018 with a BS in Computer Science and started with the Phillies as a Business Analytics intern during his last semester. The following year, he was hired full-time as the Data Engineer on the Business Analytics growing team.
As a Data Engineer, Joe oversees the process of extracting, transforming, and loading data from a wide variety of outside sources into the internal data warehouse. This includes such systems as ticketing, concessions, retail, and Wheelhouse, MLB’s one-stop data platform.
Joe maintains consistent communication with the internal consumers of data to make sure their results are as expected. Working closely with the strategic side of his department, he achieves this by creating data models that are used for reporting and visualizations that are then presented to the front office.
Moderator: Kenny Johnson, Manager, Community Engagement, The Phillies

Kenny started with the Phillies while still in high school in 1999, serving as both an intern in the Outreach Department and a game day employee for the Phillies Fan Clubs. While attending Villanova University the following years as a finance major, he continued his office internship at the Phillies during each of his summers off from school until graduating in 2004.
In 2007, Kenny joined the Outreach Department as a full time Representative. Along with his colleagues in his department, he has been involved in the planning and implementation of many programs during the season that are geared towards evolving baseball fans. These programs range from Phillies Coaches’ Clinics and the Phillies Baseball Academy for kids, to high school and collegiate showcase tournaments for teens and young adults, to Batting Challenges and mini-Fantasy Camps for corporate sponsors. He has also overseen the operations of the Phillies Fan Clubs and managed its staff of game day employees.
Kenny now works in conjunction with the Phillies Outreach, Events and Sales Departments to plan and promote outreach and community focused events at the Ballpark and around the city, as well as to keep the Phillies connected with Philadelphia’s diverse communities. He also assists with the Phillies front office recruitment efforts and manages the Phillies high school internship program. Kenny currently serves on the PHL Diversity Advisory Board, the Healthy NewsWorks Advisory Board and the UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball Committee.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kenny continues to reside in his native city.
Special Networking Hour Guest: Mickey Morandini, 1993 National League Champion and Phillies Club Ambassador

Mickey Morandini transitioned to his role as club ambassador in 2018. He had spent the previous two years with the team as first base coach and baserunning instructor.
Prior to joining the major league staff, Mickey spent five years in the Phillies minor league system as a coach for triple-A Lehigh Valley and double-A Reading and manager for single-A Lakewood and single-A Williamsport. He also spent four years as head coach for the Valparaiso High School varsity baseball team.
A 1995 National League All-Star, Mickey played nine of his 11 major league seasons (1990-2000) with the Phillies and was a member of the 1993 NL champions. He ranks fourth in Phillies history in most games played at second base (926) and was the recipient of the Paul Owens Award in 1989 as the best player in the Phillies minor league system. Mickey was originally selected by the Phillies in the fifth round of the June 1988 draft out of Indiana University. As an amateur, he won a gold medal as a member of the 1988 Olympic baseball team.
Born in Leechburg, Pa., Mickey and his wife Peg currently live in Glen Mills, Pa. They have three sons: Jordan, Griffin and Braydon.

Carolyn DiGiuseppe, General Manager, Facilities, OVG 360 at Citizens Bank Park

Carolyn DiGiuseppe is responsible for the day to day maintenance of Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. Included in this scope are cleaning, contracted services, life safety systems, green initiatives and oversite and the management of 23 full-time staff, including union building trades and over 200 seasonal custodial workers.
Carolyn is in her 21st year with Comcast-Spectacor/Spectra. In 2003, she was transferred from Comcast-Spectacor at the Wells Fargo Center to Citizens Bank Park as an Operations Assistant holding several operations roles until becoming General Manager of the facility in 2014. Carolyn has managed the operations of two MLB World Series, the 2012 NHL Winter Classic, many world class concerts and 11 Philadelphia Phillies baseball seasons. Carolyn is a member of the Green Sports Alliance, and Stadium Managers Association
She received a BA in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration from Bloomsburg University.
Leila Graham-Willis, Director, Special Events, The Phillies

Leila has been working in sports and events for 29 years, including 25 with The Phillies. As the director for special events, Leila oversees bookings for Citizens Bank Park facilities for use on non-game days, managing all aspects of events including both sales and logistics. In this role, she has had the chance to work on events such as the 2012 NHL Winter Classic, Drexel University graduations, the Spartan Race and ancillary events surrounding the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
Prior to helping establish the Special Events Department with the opening of Citizens Bank Park in 2004, Leila worked in the Sales and Marketing Departments for The Phillies. In addition, during the construction of Citizens Bank Park, Leila managed the selection and purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment for the ballpark.
After graduating college, Leila interned at Princeton University where she had the opportunity to work on several NCAA Tournament events for both men’s soccer and lacrosse. In 2000, she was the director of volunteers and special events for the NCAA Women’s Final Four held in Philadelphia. In addition to recruiting, screening, training and scheduling 700 volunteers, she planned seven key events including two fundraising luncheons featuring Tennessee head coach Pat Summitt and ESPN anchor Robin Roberts.
A native of Boston, Mass., Leila has a bachelor of science in economics degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Kevin Tedesco, General Manager, Aramark at Citizens Bank Park

Kevin Tedesco is in his 23rd year with Aramark and is currently the General Manager at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. Tedesco is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of concessions, premium and retail operations at Citizens Bank Park. Tedesco’s tenure with Aramark has taken him to six major sports and entertainment facilities in the New York and Philadelphia Metropolitan areas. Prior to being named General Manager at Citizens Bank Park, Tedesco was the General Manager at Lincoln Financial Field for three seasons and was part of the “Go Green” movement to make the stadium a zero-waste facility and becoming one of the “greenest” stadiums in all of sports. At Citizens Bank Park, Tedesco is part of a team that promotes the “Red Goes Green” initiatives and helped launch the frying oil to bio-fuel program.
In 2004, as the Director of Concessions, Tedesco was responsible for the planning and opening of the concessions operations for the new Citizens Bank Park. Since its opening in 2004, Citizens Bank Park has been ranked at or near the top of all ballpark surveys for F&B and in 2007 was awarded the Food Network Award for “Best Ballpark Eats”.
Tedesco’s facilities have always been on the cutting edge of F&B trends and his locations have continually won or have been at the top of the PETA rankings for having the Most Vegetarian Friendly stadium in both the NFL (Lincoln Financial Field) and MLB (Citizens Bank Park).
Tedesco has also managed some of the highest profile events including the World Series, NLCS & NFC Championships, Stanley Cup Finals, Army/Navy Game and major concerts consisting of U2, The Rolling Stone & Bruce Springsteen. Kevin was also part of the team that managed the 2016 World Meeting of Families event and Papal Mass here in Philadelphia.
A native of Philadelphia, Tedesco is a graduate of Rider University and resides in Medford, NJ with his wife Cheryl and their children Andrew, Laura and Jason.
Kristin Zeller, Director, Retail Marketing, The Phillies

Kristin Zeller is currently the Director of Retail Marketing, a position she has held since 2019. Zeller joined the Phillies as a ticket sales intern in 2002 before becoming a full-time employee in the Special Events Department in 2003 until 2019. Under her tenure, Zeller oversees the daily retail business at Citizens Bank Park including merchandising and special projects. Some of her notable retail related projects have included the 2019 retirements of Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, and Jimmy Rollins, 2026 All-Star Game commemoration and the 2021 retirement of Roy Halladay.
As a Special Events Manager, Kristin oversaw such events as the 2018 and 2019 Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation Celebrity Softball Game and helped run events in conjunction with numerous MLB Playoff Games, the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
Kristin was born in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. She received her BA in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Bloomsburg University in 2003, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the 2003 Public Relations Student of the Year. She currently lives in Havertown, Pennsylvania.

Shannon Snellman, Director, Finance and Controller, The Phillies

Shannon Snellman is the Director, Finance & Controller at the Phillies. She began her career as an auditor for Ernst & Young and held various roles at Endo Pharmaceuticals before rejoining The Phillies in September 2014, after a ten-year departure from her summer Phillies accounting internships held at The Vet and Citizens Bank Park.
As Controller, Shannon’s main responsibilities include overseeing the daily responsibilities of the accounting and payroll functions including quarterly and annual financial statements, financial reporting to Major League Baseball, budgeting and forecasting, taxes, treasury, accounts receivable and accounts payable. She holds an active CPA license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Shannon was born and raised in Lancaster, PA and now resides in Media, PA with her husband and three children.

Lisa Joshua is the Assistant Controller at the Phillies. She joined the Phillies in 2017. Lisa began her career as an auditor at PwC where she worked in the Private Company Services practice for seven years in three separate offices: Washington, DC, New York, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.
As Assistant Controller, Lisa’s main responsibilities include overseeing the daily responsibilities of the accounting functions including quarterly and annual financial statements, financial reporting to Major League Baseball, budgeting and forecasting, treasury and cash management, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Lisa attended Wake Forest University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Finance and her masters in accounting. She holds an active CPA license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Lisa was born and raised in Montgomery County, and now lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Ryan.
Daniel Astolfi, SVP Middle Market Regional Executive Mid-Atlantic Region, Citizens Bank

Daniel Astolfi (EVP) is the Eastern Mid-Atlantic Region Market Executive responsible for all Corporate Banking and Not for Profit Banking for Citizens Bank. The Eastern Mid-Atlantic Region includes the following geographies: Pennsylvania (East of Harrisburg), Central New Jersey and South, the State of Delaware and the Greater Baltimore, MD region. Clients served include Corporate and Commercial banking companies with revenues ranging from $25 Million to $500 Million (Commercial Banking) and Mid-Corporate clients with revenues ranging from $500 Million to $2.5 Billion. Additionally, Dan has responsibility for the Region’s Not for Profit business—which includes Human Service organizations, Higher Education, Retirement Communities, and Not for Profit Healthcare. He also manages the Bank’s Foreign Corporate and Professionals Banking groups. Dan has over 35 years of banking industry experience, with the last 17 years at Citizens Bank.
Responsibilities include managing various teams whose primary responsibility is servicing, building and growing relationships with a network of clients in varied industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, Service, Transportation and Logistics, Chemical, Higher Education, Retirement Communities, etc. In addition to client coverage, Dan is also responsible for growing market share and adding value to each client relationship by introducing information and products of value and providing financing solutions to help clients achieve their strategic objectives.
Dan maintains offices in both Fort Washington, PA as well as Philadelphia, PA.
Dan is active in the community, and serves as a volunteer board member for the Mural Arts Program (Executive Management Committee and head of Development Committee) and Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS) – Scholarship Committee, and the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association.
Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Widener University and earned his MBA from Drexel University. He passed the CPA Exam in 2001 and holds Series 69 and 73 licenses.
He has lived and worked in the Philadelphia metropolitan area his entire life, growing up in Delaware County and now residing in Chester County, where he lives (Phoenixville, PA) with his wife Helena and their three daughters – Isabella, Grace and Leila.
Kevin Murphy, Partner, KPMG LLP

Kevin Murphy is a partner at KPMG LLP, a global professional services firm that provides audit, tax, and advisory services to leading organizations throughout the world. Kevin has spent his entire 25 year career in KPMG’s Audit practice, where he assists clients in improving the quality and efficiency of their accounting and financial reporting processes. Kevin has served clients in a wide range of industries, including sports and entertainment, gaming, industrial manufacturing, and professional services, and clients that range from Fortune 500 global companies to early stage enterprises. Kevin specializes in working with companies undergoing significant organizational changes, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and preparing for initial public offerings.
Kevin is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University. He began his career working in KPMG’s Washington DC office, before transferring to KPMG’s Philadelphia office in 2001. Kevin is active in the local community, having served as the Chairman for the Philadelphia Financial Executives Networking Group, a board member for the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia’s Young Professionals Council, Vice President of the Sacred Heart Manoa Home and School Association, and a coach for his children’s baseball and softball teams.
Kevin lives in Havertown, Pennsylvania with his wife Colleen and seven children, Molly, Bridget, Lilly, Jude, Jack, Katie, and Fiona.

Kenny started with the Phillies while still in high school in 1999, serving as both an intern in the Outreach Department and a game day employee for the Phillies Fan Clubs. While attending Villanova University the following years as a finance major, he continued his office internship at the Phillies during each of his summers off from school until graduating in 2004.
In 2007, Kenny joined the Outreach Department as a full time Representative. Along with his colleagues in his department, he has been involved in the planning and implementation of many programs during the season that are geared towards evolving baseball fans. These programs range from Phillies Coaches’ Clinics and the Phillies Baseball Academy for kids, to high school and collegiate showcase tournaments for teens and young adults, to Batting Challenges and mini-Fantasy Camps for corporate sponsors. He has also overseen the operations of the Phillies Fan Clubs and managed its staff of game day employees.
Kenny now works in conjunction with the Phillies Outreach, Events and Sales Departments to plan and promote outreach and community focused events at the Ballpark and around the city, as well as to keep the Phillies connected with Philadelphia’s diverse communities. He also assists with the Phillies front office recruitment efforts and manages the Phillies high school internship program. Kenny currently serves on the PHL Diversity Advisory Board, the Healthy NewsWorks Advisory Board and the UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball Committee.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kenny continues to reside in his native city.

Mickey Morandini transitioned to his role as club ambassador in 2018. He had spent the previous two years with the team as first base coach and baserunning instructor.
Prior to joining the major league staff, Mickey spent five years in the Phillies minor league system as a coach for triple-A Lehigh Valley and double-A Reading and manager for single-A Lakewood and single-A Williamsport. He also spent four years as head coach for the Valparaiso High School varsity baseball team.
A 1995 National League All-Star, Mickey played nine of his 11 major league seasons (1990-2000) with the Phillies and was a member of the 1993 NL champions. He ranks fourth in Phillies history in most games played at second base (926) and was the recipient of the Paul Owens Award in 1989 as the best player in the Phillies minor league system. Mickey was originally selected by the Phillies in the fifth round of the June 1988 draft out of Indiana University. As an amateur, he won a gold medal as a member of the 1988 Olympic baseball team.
Born in Leechburg, Pa., Mickey and his wife Peg currently live in Glen Mills, Pa. They have three sons: Jordan, Griffin and Braydon.

Scott Palmer, Phillies Ambassador – moderator

As Phillies Ambassador, Scott is involved in various aspects with the club, including fan engagement and Phillies Charities, Inc. He also can be found at the podium, hosting news conferences and other special events for the organization.
In 2016, Scott was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, which honors the lifetime sports contributions of Pennsylvanians. Scott is also a proud member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia.
Prior to joining the Phillies in 2005, Scott was an anchor and sportscaster at WPVI-6ABC in Philadelphia for over 24 years.

Kathy Killian, Vice President, Administration, The Phillies – Moderator

A member of the Phillies organization since 1985, Kathy Killian was promoted to vice president, human resources and customer services in December 2008. She moved into her current position in October 2018. As a catalyst for the preservation and development of the organization’s culture, Kathy’s responsibilities include assisting in the annual performance review process, compensation setting and workforce development. As a business partner for management, she continues to develop the club’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and opportunities, as well as oversee employee engagement, employee recognition, employee food services, the high school associates program and other special projects.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Kathy graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in 1981 and earned a bachelor’s degree in management/marketing in 1985 from Spring Garden College. A standout basketball player, her No. 35 was retired by the school in 1988. She also coached the women’s basketball team at Holy Family University from 1987 to 1995.
Kathy began her career with the Phillies as an intern in the sales office. A year later she was hired as a full-time sales office representative and in 1995 she was promoted to director, group sales, the position she held before her promotion to vice president. In 2006, Kathy was honored with the Richie Ashburn & David Montgomery Special Achievement Award, which is given to a member of the Phillies organization who has demonstrated loyalty, dedication and passion for the game. Kathy was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2014 and was honored by the Girls Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania with the Take the Lead Award in 2015.
Kathy serves on the board of the David Palmer Foundation as well as the Temple University STHM Board of Visitors and the Pennsylvania Hospital Board of Managers.
She and her partner Jen live in Northeast Philadelphia.
