On Tuesday, April 1st, Net Impact is hosting its inaugural Sustainability Symposium featuring companies and local organizations that are coming to discuss their sustainability initiatives, network with, and recruit students for jobs. This event is open to all majors.
Here’s a brief rundown of the event:
Location: Alter Hall, MBA Commons, 7th Floor
Time: 12:00-3:00PM
- Event Start: 12:00-12:30 – Event Introduction and keynote speech by Professor Lynne Andersson
- Workshop: 12:30-1:30 – There will be workshops delivered on the topics of: Product Stewardship and Carbon Pricing [Solenis], Sustainability in Fashion [Madeleine Danzberger from Steve Madden], and B Corps 101 [Emmy Alison from B Lab Local / LIFT Economy]
- Networking: 1:30-3:00 – Students will have the opportunity to network with participating companies about their sustainability initiatives, some of which are hiring for a variety of positions
