DESCRIPTION:Temple University’s Cybersecurity in Application\, Research & Education (CARE) Lab is challenging full-time high school and college students (aged 14+) to gain first-hand cyberattack and cybersecurity experience by participating in a creative and unique social engineering event! \n**NO TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Students from all disciplinary backgrounds are welcomed!** \nThe CARE Lab has been brought in to help with the skyrocketing numbers of scams hitting Americans\, which oftentimes result in more specific tax scams. Your team will serve as a CARE Lab representative and engage with both victims and scammers as you work through real-time simulated scams. \n_________________________________________________________________________________________ \nCOMPETITION DATES (ALL VIRTUAL) \nOrientation: Saturday\, March 23\, 2024\, time TBD \nLive event: Fridays\, Saturdays\, and Sundays\, from 9am to 4pm ET. \nGraduate: April 5\, 6\, 7 | Undergraduate: April 19\, 20\, 21 | High school: May 3\, 4\, 5 \nClosing ceremonies: Wednesday\, May 8\, time TBD \n_________________________________________________________________________________________ \n\n\n\nTEAM SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS\nPARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS\n\n\n1.
