Through hands-on demonstrations\, attendees will have the opportunity to explore how to create sitemaps and set up pagination to scrape data across multiple pages using a web scraper tool\, whether that is for academic research or personal projects. Additionally\, this workshop will also introduce legal and ethical considerations for web scraping. \nNo prior experience with web scraper tools or coding is required. Participants will learn to navigate the OSM ecosystem\, extract specific urban datasets (roads\, buildings\, amenities\, land use)\, and contribute improvements to the map through direct editing. The session covers data download methods\, quality assessment techniques\, and integration with GIS software for spatial analysis.
