Pre-approval is needed to ensure that the activity is a legitimate professional development opportunity. Typically, information sessions on a companies available positions are not eligible. Note that activities listed in the PRO points calendar have already been pre-approved. Further pre-approval of activities listed in the PRO points calendar is not required.<\/p>\n<p>To request pre-approval you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Title of the activity<\/li>\n<li>Term in which it will be completed<\/li>\n<li>Sponsoring organization<\/li>\n<li>Details of the activity (e.g., where, when)<\/li>\n<li>What you expect to learn<\/li>\n<li>(If applicable) How the activity relates to coursework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To request\u00a0PRO points for participating in an external challenge, competition or event you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Title of the activity<\/li>\n<li>Term in which it was completed<\/li>\n<li>Sponsoring organization<\/li>\n<li>Details of the activity (e.g., where, when)<\/li>\n<li>What you learned<\/li>\n<li>How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All external (off campus, non-Temple) challenges, competitions, and professional development activities must be pre-approved at least three weeks before the activity takes place.
