Manage employees who are older than yourself
This is a course, hosted by John Tarnoff, that teaches about how to communicate with and manage employees that are older than you. This course also addresses some common myth of older generation, like not good at technology, not willing to learned. There are many things that I learned from this course, including but not limited to the professional solution to age discrimination, the difference of preferred communication method between generations, how to make older employees feel involved, and how to encourage communication in between different generations. I personally believe it is very necessary for me to understand the different needs of different generation before I got into the workplace, because many companies are multigenerational, you will work with people from many ages group.
