Women of the Cloud College Tour at Temple University
Women of the Cloud is an event sponsored by AWS that brings together leading women in the tech industry for panels and open discussions. As a student attendee, I had the opportunity to hear from successful women leaders who shared their journeys and insights on navigating tech. The event centered around self-empowerment and confidence, with key takeaways including learning to be okay with mistakes, stepping outside your comfort zone, being intentional with learning, and following your curiosity. Speakers also spoke about finding your “zone of genius,” getting comfortable with discomfort, and exploring different methods of learning to find what works best for you. This event is related to my career goals as finding a space to feel secure as a woman in tech and network with others.
