About Me
Welcome to My E-Portfolio
Hello! My name is Rebecca Murgia, and I am a junior Management Information Systems (MIS) major at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. I am a hard-working, outgoing, and motivated student, always striving for my best both inside and outside of the classroom. I am a strong leader with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Please feel free to learn more about me through this page!
Background
I am from Perkasie, PA in Bucks County. I graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School and played Women’s Varsity Volleyball there for 4 years where I was a captain for my senior year. In addition, I played volleyball at the club level for 3 years, at a national level for 5 years, and at a collegiate level for one year until I decided to transfer to Temple University. I then continued my volleyball career as a coach for a national level club team in the metropolitan Philadelphia area. I received my Associate’s Degree (A.S.) in Business Administration from Bucks County Community College where I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
I am from a family of 6 with an older sister named Sarah, a younger sister named Gianna, and a younger brother named Chaz. An interesting fact about me is that I am the Philadelphia Eagle’s first female flag runner, running the flag on the field when they score a touchdown.
