Information Technology Assistant- Data Analytics:

August 2019-Present

As an information technology assistant, I have produced course materials for the updated curriculum. I utilized MongoDB Compass, MySQL, and Vertabelo to create assignments. I also assisted students with challenging concepts during office hours. Lastly, I graded exams, assignments, and activities for the class.

In my position as an information technology assistant, I have gained a few skills that have helped me prepare for my career. For example, I learned a few technical data analytic skills that I could use in the future. For the position, I had to learn a language that I have never had experience with before in order to keep up with the changed curriculum. By teaching myself how to use MongoDB Compass, I learned how to learn independently. This is an important skill that I will utilize in my career, since I will have to teach myself in preparation for exams for my certifications in the future.
