Personal Reflection:

As a freshman coming into college is always hard to find professional opportunities that will assist you professionally and academically. Being an APEx intern during my freshman year helped me get a good feel of what it takes to work in a professional environment. After completing the internship program at the end of my freshman year, I was awarded the Inter of the Year for the program. This internship program opened new job opportunities within the Russell Conwell Learning Center and helped me built a strong relationship with the staffs in the Learning Center. I met a lot of great people that I hope to stay in touch with. I couldn’t thank everyone there enough for the opportunity I was provided my first year in college and I am grateful that I was able to be involved in such a successful and stable center that assist students in achieving excellence.
