Digital Merchandising Intern

SNIPES is a global sneaker and streetwear retailer headquartered in Essen, Germany, with U.S. operations based in Bensalem, PA. The company operates over 300 stores across the U.S. and Europe and specializes in footwear, apparel, and accessories. I worked in the Digital Merchandising Department of the U.S. division.

My primary role as a Digital Merchandising Analyst Intern was to optimize site performance by analyzing consumer behavior and sales data. I collaborated with the team to implement merchandising strategies, enhanced product visibility online, and ensured alignment with current sneaker and streetwear trends.

During this internship, I worked on projects like conducting UX and quality assurance reviews of the website to identify pain points in the user journey. I analyzed site navigation, product categorization, and page load speeds to recommend actionable improvements, which helped improve customer experience and align the site with industry best practices.

This experience enhanced my understanding of e-commerce operations, cloud platforms, UX, QA, and tools like Salesforce, applying concepts from my MIS coursework to analyze data and recommend improvements. Additionally, I developed skills in cross-functional collaboration, essential for careers in MIS.
