Speaker Series
The MIS speaker series was a great opportunity to sit down and receive advice and information for established personnel within the IT industry. Throughout the duration of the speaker series, I learned what exactly it takes to be successful. One common trend I noticed from each speaker was they preached how we need to have the drive to keep learning in order to succeed within the industry since technology is constantly changing. I found this opportunity to be very helpful because it gave me real insight on what life after graduation will be like and what exactly it will take to be successful within the field.
