Temple University Ice Hockey Treasurer
As the Temple Ice Hockey Treasurer I collected funds from 29 individuals on the team and transferred them to campus rec. This lead to managing money and operations to help the club progress for this current season and the future. Working with the other board members to oversee progress and come up with plans anuse what was done and impliment new things to create a better environment for the future members that come after our current staff. I also worked towards creating opportunity for younger kids that play at our rink to learn from some of the players on the team including myself. This activity took place over the entire year during the ice hockey season and it elevated my understanding for leadership and also gave me insight into what it is like to have to manage peers. These things relate to courses in the MIS department because it forced me to coordinate and keep tabs of dues and payments in a timely manner through excel to ensure everyone was properly registered and able to play with the most up to date equipment and environment.
