This activity was very informative about company culture and how it should be perceived as a whole. Gartner Vice President Analyst, Christie Struckman explained how many people are resistant to change and changing culture will take time and consistency. She mentions things like understanding the culture is important rather than enforcing something that employees may not understand. She also states that culture change should be treated like pebbles and not like a boulder because every good little action will add up in the long run. This event gave me a different perspective on culture and taught me that managing company culture is a huge part of a manager’s position.
