I attended a virtual event called Opportunity Knocks: Acing Your Interview, hosted by Lissa Hilsee. The panel included professionals from AmeriHealth Caritas, Comcast NBCUniversal, and Vertex Inc. They shared helpful advice about how to prepare for interviews and stand out as a candidate. I learned how important it is to keep my resume clear and tailored to each job, use the STAR method when answering questions, and ask about company culture. The speakers also reminded us that networking plays a big role in finding the right job and that interviews are a two-way conversation. Overall, the event helped me feel more confident and prepared for future interviews.
