Attending the Fox IT Career Fair
The Fox IT Career Fair is a career fair that is closed off to anyone who does not have a major relating to MIS. It is a career fair that is hosted by the MIS department that showcases companies that are interested in students who are MIS majors. It is a really good experience because going to the career fair, you know that the prospective employers are people that want to hire you. Everyone that is there is interested in you and you have the ability to go up to any table and be a candidate to them. Going to the career fair got me in contact with several employers who I gave my resume and had lengthy conversations with. The Career fair is a great resource for MIS majors and I would recommend it to anyone who is also an MIS major. It is a great experience that could potentially lead you to get an internship or full time job.
