Tax Associate – Trade & Customs Global Trade Technology | KPMG
As a Tax Associate within KPMG’s Trade & Customs Global Trade Technology practice, I support clients in optimizing their global trade and customs operations through technology-driven solutions. I work with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) to help clients integrate, configure, and enhance their trade compliance systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
My responsibilities include supporting SAP GTS implementations and integrations, analyzing client trade and customs processes, assisting with system configuration and testing, and helping identify opportunities to streamline import and export procedures. I collaborate with client teams and internal KPMG professionals to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions that support customs compliance, trade documentation, tariff classification, import/export controls, and other global trade processes.
I also assist with project implementation activities, including requirements gathering, system testing, issue tracking, client meetings, and project documentation. Through this work, I help organizations leverage SAP GTS to automate and manage complex global trade processes while reducing compliance risks and improving the overall efficiency of their international supply chains.
