Smokin Sone’s Fresh Grill
For my second IBIT project, I had the pleasure of working with Professor Havakhor and Sofia. We had an easier time with this project compared to my first experience. We used Shopify as an e-commerce site and we were able to build the website utilizing one of Shopify’s templates. Our team had trouble integrating third-party apps for the first project but Shopify was a quick install and run for third parties. I got the chance to work on the website layout and design as well as lead the domain switch. I also made a video walkthrough of how to manage the website backend so the client knows what to do after we finish the project. I learned that your experience with website development can vary depending on what e-commerce platform you decide to use.
