How to Use Data Visualization to Make Better Decisions—Faster
In this module, I learned how to use powerful platforms to display and understand data. There are many different ways to visualize data, and I was able to understand when and how to use specific types of charts. Data visualization is not a one-size fits all scenario; it is just as important to understand when not to use certain forms of visuals when trying to convey a message. Visualizing data is very intentional, colors, graphs, and size are also important when trying to send a message. Graphs must be clear enough so the viewer is not overwhelmed by information, but detailed enough so someone is able to discern the main idea without too much text.
