Social Media Marketing Foundations
Social media marketing is a very important aspect of marketing for many businesses. There are many strategic choices that go behind content, and marketers have to collect data and understand how to best reach their audience. In this module, I learned about when it might be important to use paid ads versus organic ads. Social media content requires social listening, which is the act of monitoring all media platforms to see what trends. This information is very helpful for me as I am minoring in digital marketing and want to understand the industry more. The module helped me better understand data and how to use that data to communicate a company’s goals and how to determine what kind of content to use based on the objectives.
