Opportunity Knocks: Talent and Education fair
The career fair was a fair where we get to meet several young employers who was fairly new to the company and hear about their experiences. There was also a woman who taught us public speaking skills. After that event, we began to talk to some of the employers(SEPTA, Blue Cross Independence, etc.) and tried to network with them. There was also a mini event where we can free stuff such as the Amazon firestick. I learned more about public speaking(which is something that I lack in), learned about how to network with people as well, etc. It related to my goals as someone who would like to be able to work in one of these companies one day in IT or business analytics.
