Travel

I have a significant interest in travel, because there is nothing more boring to me than staying in the same place for too long. While I enjoy living and going to school at Temple University in Philadelphia, the world has so much more to offer. My year abroad in Germany taught me so many things. This was the first time I was away from home for longer than 3 weeks. I actually spent the entire year abroad without ever coming back! I tried my best to integrate myself into the host family I spent 10 months with. It was a very difficult experience, but one that I will remember for the rest of my life. I hope to travel to many other countries in the future!

 

Soccer

Soccer is my favorite sport in the world. I began playing at the age of 6 and continue to play today. I have played for a club soccer team based in Pittsburgh called Century United as well as for my high school team. I greatly enjoy watching professional soccer also. I used to follow the English Premiere League, the Bundesliga, the Italian Serie A, and the Spanish La Liga, however I no longer have the time to keep up! I also greatly look forward to International play, especially the World Cup. I was actually present for the World Cup in Germany in 2006.
