I am an active member of Gamma Iota Sigma; Sigma Chapter at Temple University, which  I joined in 2013.  The fraternity’s purpose is to strengthen student’s knowledge and professionalism about Risk Management, Healthcare Risk Management, and Actuarial Science.  Through weekly meetings, case studies, guest lecturers, and community service, members are able to gain useful background on each field of study and actively help the community.

I transferred to Temple University for my second semester in the Spring of 2012 so that I could attend the Fox School of Business as a Business Administration major.  I was intrigued by the idea of being in city and being able to take advantage of  so many great opportunities.  A diverse culture and high-octane business city was something that was and still is very important to me while attending college.

I started my collegiate career at West Virginia University where I studied Communications.  Shortly into my first semester, I decided that Communications wasn’t for me and that I wanted to study Business, so I made the right decision to transfer out after only one semester.  I was able to leave WVU with a 3.5 GPA and the time having experienced a very large rural college campus.

I attended Souderton Area High School all 4 years of high school and was very active within the school.  I was Sports Editor of the school newspaper, The Arrowhead, along with a Senior Producer of the school’s TV show, Red Alert.  I also held leadership positions in Student Council as the Secretary and Vice President of the Ski & Snowboard Club.  Along with those leadership positions, I was an active member of Link Crew, which was a program to help 8th graders transfer into the high school as Freshman.  I also played Varsity baseball.
