Volunteer Experience
Russell Conwell Learning Center (RCLC) Student Ambassador & Greeter
So far, most exciting volunteer experience I ever had. As a student Ambassador, RCLC provide me the opportunity to meet the variety of people. I assist a group of twenty incoming freshmen students in large urban university by guiding and informing about all programs that are provided by the Temple University. Most highlighting part in this volunteer service was on “Temple Experience Day” where I communicate with new students to provide an answer to their questions, concerns and problems. Also, as a job of Ambassador, I have to update freshmen applicant admission status bi-weekly on Google Docs and assist them on daily assignments over phone which required for their enrollment. Beverly Hills (BH) Middle School Tutor
As a tutor, I had to assist and guide 10+ middle school students with their Homework or lessons in BH middle school. It was fun and enjoyable community service experience that I had where I was able to create a learning environment as wells developed my communication skills. Since most of students were immigrant, I had to explain the classwork and homework in more depth exploration and details. The service was not stuck at tutoring, we was also able to took a trip in New York and able to explore the city to gain more knowledge and experience about U.S history.
