Intro to Critical Making
In this event hosted by Hanna-Mae Greenfield, we learned about the Maker Space at temple University and all it has to offer, but focused on 3D scanning. We also learned about how it differs to 3D modeling and 3D printing. They did a live demonstration showing the 3D scanner and showed us how it works. They also taught us about different ways to scan, how to edit a scan, and what the ideal characteristics would be of something to scan. This event was very educational and gave me insight on what it would be like to this in a future profession.
