Sales Associate
In this position, I implemented communication skills to learn more about the customers needs and be able to pursue sales based on that information. I use the POS system to go through with those sales but I mainly handled the online orders which required me to fill the customers orders and store them in the correct places for optimal storage. With filling the orders, I have to be aware of the placement of each item and keep track of them when they get moved around the store for product placement. I also have to fill the order from the stock rather than the off the shelves or tables, to ensure the best shopping experience for the in-store customers. Replenishing inventory from said stock is also one of the major tasks as customers are always shopping, as well as pushing out new product and making sure it’s in the best spot to intrigue the customers. I have improved my communications skills within this position, while also learning how to work the different systems needed for customer satisfaction.
