Opportunity Knocks: Wisdom from Recent Grads on Jobs & Internships
The “Opportunity Knocks: Wisdom from Recent Grads on Jobs & Internships”, that was hosted by Lissa Hilsee, was an opportunity for students to hear from recent graduates that found full-time positions and learn from their experiences. The beginning was a webinar where they told the students about themselves, how they got their positions, what their roles are, and more about the company they work for. Afterwards, we were able to ask them questions and learned about the interview process, hiring process, what to expect from these roles, and how to stand out in the business world. As a student looking for an internship, and soon looking for a full-time position, this event was incredibly helpful and useful, and gave me a better understanding of the business world.
