In this course, we discussed good business techniques and why HR is so important. I even did a project with a group of individuals where we built a mock business for a grade.
Business Seminar I
In this course, my professor studied MIS herself and I got to learn a lot of great things from her. Besides learning about the general rules of business such as what to wear and how to do well in an interview, I also got to learn about how many different jobs people in the MIS field can have.
Management Information Systems 2101
This course is especially helpful to me. I am learning about systems analysis, systems architecture, business processes, CRM’s, ERP’s, and more. I predict I will soon be learning about analytics and programming.
Legal Environment of Business
In this course, I am currently working on learning how the law can affect business. We discuss contracts, business transactions, lawsuits and why they can bring bad publicity, as well as basic law.
