PCS Retirement (May 2019-August 2019)- I had the opportunity to work as a Business Analyst intern at PCS Retirement where I enjoyed working with new people in a new environment. I was particularly interested in my position in the IT department where I learned the basics of Salesforce and project management. At this internship I was able to expand my knowledge on how a Business Analyst operates and how important the IT department was for the entire company. During my time there, I was given the task of project and ticket tracking. Here I worked with Salesforce to track bugs found in the company’s systems and work directly with a developer to resolve those issues. I was also in charge of projects the company assigned to me. While working on these projects I learned the importance of tracking my process. I was advised to document how far the project was coming along and what steps I take to complete this project. I was told to include meeting notes and development processes that were important to the advancement of my projects. Within my time at PCS Retirement, I acquired many new skills while working with others. I learned the importance of working as team and not being afraid to ask questions.
Pacific Sunwear (October 2016-December 2019)- As a sales associate at Pacific Sunwear, I have gained outstanding knowledge as an employee. From team building to leadership I have been able to improve my skills and progress. Helping customers and other employees in the workplace has shown me great responsibility and an understanding of a working environment. In the summer of 2017, I was offered a position as part-time assistant manager.
