Personal Interests

VINTAGE mic!One of my greatest passions in life is singing.  I have studied voice for six years and have had the opportunity to work with wonderfully talented teachers such as Susan Rheingans and Susan Kloss.  I have also previously studied at Settlement Music School and acquired further vocal instruction through several classes at Temple University.

Music has always played a significant role in my life.  For seven years, I had incredible dance training with Rita Rue, one of the best known dance teachers in the Philadelphia area.  I studied tap, ballet and jazz under Ms. Rita’s fine guidance.  One of her former students is Broadway star, Annie Andrea Mcardle, the original Annie.

Acting has become a newfound love of mine.  It all started about three years ago when I took my first and only acting class.  I studied under Robert Smythe, a renowned director and producer in the Philadelphia area and Barrymore Award winner.  In his theatre class, I learned the key foundations of acting and the essential techniques to deliver well-executed monologues and scenes.  Last year, I was able to further develop my onstage performance abilities with the Siena Players, a Philadelphia-based theater group, by acting, dancing and singing in a version of the Broadway production Godspell and Irving Berlin’s classic musical White Christmas.
