Extra Curricular Activities
Listed below are a number of my interests and hobbies:
Fishing:
I have been a fisherman for the majority of my life. My most frequent spot is the Chesapeake Bay specifically during Striped Bass season in the beginning of Spring. Another spot I frequent is 70 miles off the coast of Galveston, TX. My style of fishing ranges from deep sea, lake and bay fishing along with kayaking and crabbing.
Bodybuilding:
For the past four years I have been a heavy follower and participant in the world of bodybuilding. When I noticed that it was something that I would like to become devoted to I reached out to a former NFL lineman who happened to go to and train at the same gym as me. After a few training sessions I dove head first into the fitness community and it has been a part of my lifestyle ever since. I have learned a substantial amount regarding dedication from strict diet planning that takes place year-round to personally coaching others who show interest in getting involved in fitness/bodybuilding. My plans currently include getting certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Technology:
Since I was in grade school I have been fascinated with IT, primarily on the hardware side of the spectrum. My most recent activity involved building a PC from the ground up. Once I successfully completed the build and realized how enjoyable it was I then knew I made the right decision to pursue MIS and Information Technology. Pictured above is my completed build.
Traveling:
So far, I have been fortunate enough to visit some special destinations during my life. I have been on several public service trips including San Jose, Costa Rica and Bogota, Colombia. I hope to study abroad before my student career at Temple University is completed.
