2026 Spring Career Fair
The 2026 Spring Career Fair was completed during the Spring 2026 term and was hosted by Temple’s Career Center. The event took place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM. At the career fair, I had the opportunity to speak with several companies, including Epic Systems, Vanguard, Worldgate, and Northwestern Mutual. One of my biggest takeaways from this experience was becoming more comfortable with networking and initiating conversations with recruiters. At first, it felt intimidating to approach employers, but as I spoke to more representatives, I gained confidence in introducing myself, asking questions, and having more natural conversations. This experience also helped me better understand how to present my skills and interests in a professional setting. This career fair relates to my coursework and career goals as an MIS major because it gave me insight into how different companies apply technology, data, and customer focused strategies in real world roles. It also helped me explore potential career paths and understand what employers are looking for, which will guide how I continue to build my skills and experiences moving forward.
