Interests
I am currently an avid member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and regularly attend meetings and events, such as the 16th annual IT Awards. Becoming involved in this organization has enlightened me on just how many different job opportunities are available to MIS majors. Career fields that currently interest me include Data Analytics, and IT/Cyber Security. Having a previous background in Marketing has enabled me to be able analyze and utilize the company’s data to improve tactics used to reach their target consumer base and overall business performance.
I enjoy and take advantage of traveling with family and friends whenever possible. As of 2016 I have traveled to Costa Rica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bermuda and different islands in the Caribbean. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to travel the world and experience new foods, traditions, people and places. I strongly believe that experiencing different cultures in an important aspect in getting to be more diversified and internationally educated.
